Who handles your information

InspectRenew handles account administration, billing, security, support, and information from its own website. Your service shop determines the purposes of its customer inspection records and communications. InspectRenew processes those records for the shop under the agreed Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

For an inspection record, contact the named service shop. You can also use the contact below for help identifying the responsible shop or making a request. A paid account is not required to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Information, sources, and purposes

  • Account details: names, business contacts, organization, roles, and credentials from you or your administrator support sign-in, permissions, and support.
  • Inspection records: shops, technicians, and booking recipients supply customer contacts, site addresses, equipment, findings, deficiencies, dates, and requested appointments for records, reports, and authorized reminders.
  • Photos, names, and signatures from authorized users and signers document service and acknowledgment. Signatures are not used to create biometric identification templates.
  • Billing: you and Stripe supply subscription, invoice, and transaction identifiers for billing, accounting, and fraud prevention. Payment card details are provided to Stripe.
  • Technical information: interactions with the service and infrastructure produce IP addresses, device/browser metadata, and access or security events for protection and troubleshooting.
  • Mobile notifications, when enabled: device tokens and shop activity support push delivery through Expo and platform push services.
  • Cookie choices and permitted campaign data come from your browser and campaign links to remember preferences and measure acquisition.
  • Messaging permissions, opt-outs, and delivery records come from recipients, shops, and messaging providers to honor preferences and document authorized delivery.

Limit sensitive information

Do not submit unrelated health information, identity documents, payment-card details, or other sensitive material. Photos and free text may contain personal information even when collection is not intentional. Shops must limit records to what is needed for the inspection.

Recipients and public verification

Information is shared with authorized shop users, instructed recipients, and providers needed to operate enabled features. Stripe also handles some payment, fraud-prevention, and regulatory information as an independent controller. The provider register distinguishes intended integrations from verified activation.

Anyone holding a verification link can view the published metadata. A redacted PDF may still reveal a site name, equipment location, or deficiency. Shops must review these fields before sharing. The private original requires authorized access. Share booking links only with their intended recipients.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. A business transfer does not remove existing privacy obligations.

Mobile numbers and SMS permission

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Providers may process this information only to deliver and administer the shop’s authorized messaging program. Permission for one shop does not apply to another shop or InspectRenew marketing.

Cookies, advertising, and choices

Essential cookies support authentication and security. The website stores your cookie choice in ir_consent for up to 180 days. Analytics and advertising consent defaults to denied unless a deployment explicitly configures a different default. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept, decline, or change your choice.

After permission, ir_attr stores first-touch campaign parameters, click identifiers, a referrer origin, and the landing path for up to 90 days. Declining removes that attribution cookie. Changes apply to future collection.

Google Tag Manager can load configured Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta measurement. Depending on which services are enabled, campaign identifiers and page interactions may be transferred to those services, which may associate activity across websites and over time. Advertising disclosures may constitute sale or sharing under applicable law even without payment.

The production tag inventory, server-side transfers, and response to Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control have not yet been verified. Do not rely on automatic recognition of those signals; use Cookie preferences and contact us with privacy requests. Required opt-out handling must be verified before advertising activation.

Inspection, verification, and booking data are not authorized for advertising measurement. Cookie permission does not authorize SMS. The mobile launch list is used for the requested launch notification unless you separately choose additional marketing.

Retention and deletion

Inspection records follow the shop’s documented retention instructions, applicable code or AHJ requirements, and legal holds. Account and support information is needed for account administration and resolving requests; billing records for accounting and tax duties; security records for protection and claims; minimal consent and suppression records for honoring preferences and demonstrating permission.

Category-specific periods and active-data and backup deletion deadlines are pending operational approval. The DPA identifies proposed return and deletion periods, not a verified deletion service level. Request the approved schedule before production use. Closing an account does not remove the shop’s duty to keep required inspection records.

Limited information may be retained for legal obligations, claims, security, or opt-outs. Restricted backups expire separately from active records; erasure instructions must be reapplied after restoration. Account deactivation is not permanent erasure.

Your requests and rights

Depending on applicable law and our role, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, restriction of or objection to processing, or opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not retaliate for exercising applicable rights.

Use the contact below with “Privacy request” in the subject. Authorized agents can submit requests with appropriate authority. Identity verification should be proportionate, without unrelated sensitive documents. For shop-controlled records, we forward or assist with the request under the shop’s instructions and applicable law.

Applicable legal deadlines govern responses. A denial or permitted extension must be explained; where an appeal is available, use the same contact with “Privacy appeal.” You may also contact the competent regulator, including California privacy authorities or Brazil’s ANPD where applicable.

International handling and security

Operator location and provider processing countries are pending confirmation. Support access from Brazil may occur; no US-only storage or access promise is made. Required international transfer arrangements must be completed before the affected processing.

Access controls, protected storage, and other organizational and technical safeguards are described in the DPA. No system is risk-free, and we do not claim our own SOC 2 or ISO certification. Report security concerns through the contact below with “Security” in the subject.

Children and changes

The service is intended for adult business users, not children. Do not intentionally submit children’s personal information. Contact us if it has been submitted so we can work with the responsible shop.

Material changes will be identified here and communicated where required, with further permission obtained when necessary. The date above identifies this notice version; it does not establish that pending launch arrangements are complete.
